ABOUT BAIRDCROFT

Chuck and Amanda Pitsch are the owners and barn managers of Bairdcroft. They have owned horses for over 20 years. They spent several years breeding and showing Tennessee Walking Horses and stood 3 different stallions. They have sold foals throughout the U.S. and Canada, and even Europe. They currently own 5 horses of various breeds. They have owned their own property, boarded horses for others and have also been boarders at other facilities. This gives them a well rounded knowledge of horse care and boarder expectations.

Chuck and Amanda both work off the farm as well. Chuck is an IT Manager and Amanda is an Instructional Designer. Both have completed graduate level degrees in their respective fields. In their “spare” time, they usually can be found working on projects on the farm. Chuck also enjoys sailing and Amanda loves a relaxing trail ride.

Outside of the horses, Chuck and Amanda are also very strong believers in volunteering. Chuck served on the fair board for the Berlin Fair for over 10 years, many of those as the Vice President. Amanda has been involved in several organizations including the Walking Horse Association of Michigan, All Dressage Association, GLASS-ED, Pony Club and others. They have both assisted with hosting shows, judged trail rides and clinics. Chuck and Amanda also have raised 8 puppies for Paws With A Cause and 2 puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind. They also support Focus on Ferals, with several of their barn cats coming from this organization.
